Drum Therapy
Having trouble focusing, paying attention, staying “on task”, or finishing things?
Do you have loads of energy, ideas, or find yourself daydreaming?
Are you having problems learning or retaining information?
Do you sometimes feel “out of synch” with the world and those around you?
Are you feeling stressed, angry, depressed, or anxious?
Maybe it’s time to try something completely different! Drum therapy is a safe, effective, and fun way to help alleviate all of the above issues. Whether in a group or private settings, students will learn techniques that will enable them to feel more in sync, with both sides of their brain working together.
Drumming is also a great team-building activity, as well as a super stress-buster! Using percussion instruments, Djembes, or drum pads, students can find their own rhythm.
Dori Staehle is a certified drum therapist with the internationally-known organization, Drums Against Disabilities (DAD)®.
